How much longer can vision racing afford to keep Ed Carpenter?
Regardless if's he's T.G.'S stepson or not ,the dude is a bust!!!!!
Lets look at preformance.
In 83 starts he has: 0 wins
only3 top 5's
21 top 10's
0 poles
and has a total of 3 laps lead......
This will be his 4th yr. with vision.I say cut your losses,and release him.

And while were at it,unload Manning,Dunno,and Mutoh as well.......
Maybe then we can bring back a few BETTER pilots
Tracy,Servia,maybe even give Munter a shot....She certainly couldn't do any worse.

Family ties and sponsorship dollars speak loudly my friend.

Ed is a decent driver. On ovals that is. He's had a couple chances to win. He's just had a lot of bad luck. Sure since more road coarses are now on the schedule, his stock has dropped. But he's still a decent driver that is capable of running up front in 10 of the 17 races.

As for PT and Servia, it appears KVRT is working on deals for both of them. PT seems the most likely between the two to get a drive. But, yes it would be nice to have them in the series full time. It would also be nice to see Sam Hornish and Sebastian Bourdais in an IndyCar full time.

Ed was struggling at St. Pete and Long Beach.
